With over 40 years experience in the design industry, I specialise in client service, project co-ordination, furniture and space planning. For the past 19 years, I have successfully run my own consulting business, DesignBank.

I have managed diverse projects, including leading projects that combined brand identity, graphic design, and interior design, providing clients with comprehensive creative solutions.

As the founder of DesignBank, I have managed high-profile projects for commercial clients such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Standard & Poor’s, collaborating with global project management firms (i.e. CBRE) to meet and uphold international standards.

My extensive background ensures the highest level of professionalism and successful project delivery, encompassing tailor-made solutions.

Service Delivery - Hospitality

Long-standing client relationships have led to ongoing business opportunities. Appointments to The Motse and Tarkuni projects for Tswalu Kalahari subsequently led to DesignBank being appointed to run the construction of an extensive tented camp, Loapi. The scope of Project Manager and Client Representative included:

  • Facilitating the sourcing and recommendation process for architects, interior designers, and the professional team.
  • Lead the initiation, approval, and management of project budgets, ensuring alignment with client and project objectives.
  • Responsible for reviewing and approving all expenditure.
  • Played a pivotal role in the design approval process by evaluating proposed solutions before formal client approval.
  • Managed logistics.
  • Ensured a seamless transition from completion to operational phases, inclusive of all documentation
